Personalised Academic Tuition to Elevate Your University Writing
I work as an English Language teacher at a university in England, where I see international and home students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to develop their university writing.
This means I plan and teach classes related to essay and dissertation writing, and also have regular one-to-one sessions with students related to their university assignments. These individual sessions can be related to any aspect of academic work, such as if an assignment is clear and well-organised; if a dissertation or thesis chapter is detailed and evaluative; if the language is accurate and appropriate; if the use of sources is correct to build suitable arguments; or anything else related to university writing.
What makes me effective, is that I am not a subject-specific teacher so, due to my extensive experience, I can work with students across a range of different degree subjects and levels. In addition, what students often require is a fresh pair of eyes and help from someone who can see things differently and offer insights into what they are writing.
With this in mind, I am able to offer 45 minute 1-2-1 online sessions (via Zoom, Skype or MS Teams) on a range of different writing areas. These include:
